 September 24, 2010:  Anoka CAP All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner
 
from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Spring Lake Park VFW, 8100 Pleasant View Dr.
 with the Silent Auction starting at 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm.  CAP is the Civilian
 Volunteer Auxiliary of the United States Air Force.  Tickets are $12.00 for
 adults, $6.00 for children.  Proceeds benefit the Anoka County Squadron based
 at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine.  The three main missions of the Civil Air
 Patrol are Cadet Programs, Emergency Services, and Aerospace Education.

 October 16, 2010 Oktoberfest 5K Beer/Brat Walk/Run
sponsored by
 the St. Francis Lions Club.  5K starts at 11:00 am at the St. Francis Community
 Park off Hwy 47 and finishes there.  Oktoberfest activities will take place
 immediately following the race.  Participants will receive a race t-shirt, one
 free beer or root beer if under 21, and a BBQ brat after the race.  Oktoberfest
 activities include music, entertainment, and lots of German food!  For more
