July 2 - 4, 2017 - Coon Rapids 4th of July Celebration - Don't miss this fun family tradition! The Coon Rapids Fourth of July Community Celebration is coming up July 2-4 at Boulevard Park, on the grounds of the Coon Rapids Ice Center located at 11000 Crooked Lake Boulevard. Kick things off with the Firecracker 5K/10K/Kids Sparkler Dash on Sunday July 2nd. July 7 - 8, 2017 - Andover Family FunFest - Andover, MN's annual great community festival! Always held on the first weekend after the 4th of July. July 8, 2017 – Anoka Riverfest - Anoka Riverfest has something for everyone. It's one of the Twin Cities largest craft fairs with over 140 hand-selected crafters exhibit their unique, 100% hand-crafted wares and so much more. Spend a great day in historic downtown Anoka browsing booths or enjoying free, live music, a food court with all your favorite fair foods, family activities, and more.  Enjoy free live concerts. Listen to Jazz, Big Band, Folk and more while you enjoy one of the delicious fare from one of the many food vendors.  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Historic Downtown Anoka, MN.  Admission, parking, and most events are FREE!

July 8, 2017 – Freedom Fest - It started as a simple party in a back yard with good friends and cold beer in an attempt to raise some money for various veterans groups.  We are now entering our 4th year of "Freedom Fest" and have raised over $10,000.00 for Military Charities.  Freedom Fest 2017. Hosted by The Plott Hounds with....Alex Crankshaft Larson, Bitter Roots, Flatwater Mississippi, Analog Drifters, That's My Uncle, The Reverb Country Dusters.  The location:  Anoka, MN - the house right next to the boat launch (1515 2nd Ave, Anoka, MN) on 2nd Ave.  Enjoy the day and evening Riverside along the Rum & Mississippi River soaking up some rays and drinking some suds (or water) and enjoying some food while music carries the day and we raise some money for the Minnesota Military Family Foundation.  We will have beer, food & live music while acccepting donations for the MMFF.  Bring your patriotic ferver and dress accordingly..bring some cash to. #supportyourtroopsClick Here for Flyer.

July 8, 2017 - Page Education Foundation Doggie Walk - Direct your paws—while supporting a great cause—to the 2017 Page Education Foundation Doggie Walk. Join former Minnesota retired Supreme Court Justice, Minnesota Viking and NFL Pro Football Hall of Famer Alan Page for a walk around beautiful Lake of the Isles (2020 W. Lake of the Isles Pkwy., Minneapolis). July 9, 2017 - Art in the Park: Art Fair - Join Rumriver Art Center and the City of Ramsey for its first annual art fair, where community members and visitors will be able to share and enjoy the arts.  This free event will also feature local food vendors, artist demos, and introductory art classes.  Introductory art classes are free for everyone! September 23, 2017 - Love My Pet Fair - Coon Rapids Love My Pet Fair grew from the realization that people have strong bonds with their pets and consider their pets as part of the family. The goal of the Coon Rapids Love My Pet Fair is to provide pet lovers within it's community education, resources and fun activities to celebrate responsible pet ownership.  From demonstrations, to pet costume contests, to pet art and more, people and pets had a great time together.  It is our mission to provide a safe space for pets and people to mingle, learn a few things, and have fun!
